William Patrick Boyd

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Bill Boyd. Bill passed away on January 7, 2025. He was born in Stamford, CT on April 1, 1962.

Bill was the son of Patricia Macaluso and the late Ivan Boyd. He is survived by his mother, his sister Susan Barati (Andrew), his brothers Richard Boyd Sr and John Woodruff (Lori). His nieces Shannon Boyd, Danielle Barati, Madalyn Barati and his nephew Richard “Wally” Boyd, Jr., his beloved dog Max and numerous relatives including his aunt Kathy Buckley and her husband Barry. Bill was predeceased by his sister Lynne Lynch and her husband Grant Lynch.

Bill was a beacon of kindness with a gentle soul that touched all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his willingness to go the extra mile for the people he loved. He was an avid sports enthusiast with a lifelong love for the NY Mets and the NY Giants. 

He loved spending time with his family and friends whether going out to eat or just relaxing, chatting or watching the Mets or Giants on tv. He enjoyed a home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner.

One of his favorite things to do was taking his loving doggy Max out for hikes or a swim after work and on weekends. He would often be accompanied by his friend Donna and her doggy Roxy. Bill was retired from Valiant  Energy Solutions. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Jenkins  King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
