Wayne D. Albro, a 73 year old Naugatuck resident, passed away April 28th surrounded by his loving family. He was born Sept. 8, 1950 in Derby, son of the late Franklin & Evelyn Goodman Albro. He graduated from Seymour High School, class of 1968. He worked as a truck driver for J.F. Barret & Sons and retired from Mark IV. He was a member of Teamsters Local 191 and a member of the Teamsters retirees. His happiest moments growing up were those spent boating on the Housatonic River. Later in life, he was an avid golfer and most enjoyed golfing with his “Florida Foursome.” Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his daughters and grandchildren. He leaves two daughters, Jamie Zambero (Mark) of Waterbury & Laura Albro of Naugatuck, his brother David Albro (Beverly) of Oxford, grandchildren Addison Zambero & Deanna DiMichele, step granddaughter Hailie Zambero, and his nieces and nephews Kimberly McGee, Kelly Albro Kirkland, Lisa Perry & Jeffrey Bryk. He was predeceased by his two sisters Janice Bryk & Karyn Albro. Funeral services will be held at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia on Saturday, May 11 at 3:30 p.m. Friends may call from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. before the service begins. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
