Walter (Jr.) Butler

Walter Butler Jr., a 74 year old Ansonia resident, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1. He was born Jan. 22, 1951 in Natchez, Mississippi, son of Walter Butler Sr. & Katie Ruth Butler. He was an Ansonia High School graduate, class of ’68 and worked as a computer programmer for NASDAQ. He leaves his daughter Zakiyyah Butler of New Haven, son Walter Butler III of Meriden, his sister Minecia Scott of Hamden, his grandchildren Mikhayla Whitted, Maliyah Butler, Taelynn Butler and Lennox Butler, Goddaughter Taylor Butler, as well as a host of nieces, nephews & cousins. Walter was predeceased by his granddaughter Journey Butler. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 7th at 12 NOON from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12 NOON. Burial will be private.
