Thomas Grosskopf Sr., a 74 year old Ansonia resident and husband to Carol McLaughlin Grosskopf, passed away Oct. 2. He was born July 5, 1948 in New Haven, son of the late Richard & Frances Lyons Grosskopf. He worked as a foreman for Amtrak in New Haven and also as a pattern maker for Farrel Corp. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Thomas Grosskopf Jr of Ansonia, his daughter Tracy Santore of Walton Beach Fl., his sister Judy Ellen Donofrio of Nevada, 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Friends may call on Sunday evening October 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Prayer services will follow. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
