Obituary
Sherman “Red” Saine, an 85 year old former longtime Ansonia resident, passed away Dec. 27 in Shelton. He was born in Marshall, Alabama and worked as a painter after serving in the Army. In addition to his wife Mary Danielcki Saine, he was predeceased by his sister Darla Joe Saine as well as parents M.R. and Willie Canfield Saine. He is survived by his son Timothy D. Saine and step-daughters Rebecca and Melissa Danielcki. Private services of remembrance will be held by the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Ansonia Animal Shelter.
