Ruth B. McLaughlin

Ruth B. McLaughlin, an 87-year-old Southbury resident, passed away July 18. She was born October 15, 1934, daughter of the late Henry McLaughlin & Mary Davidonis McLaughlin. She worked as a production assembler for Easterseals in Watertown. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lillian Dirzius and her brother Henry McLaughlin Jr. Ruth was a gentle soul and beloved Aunt and Great Aunt to several nieces and nephews. We hope the angels have plenty of her favorite coffee and ice cream. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 28 at 12:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ruth’s memory to the Home and School Association of the Southbury Training School.
