Rosemarie Pricilla (Lucas) Payne

Rosemarie Pricilla Payne a 92 year old Seymour resident and wife of the late Charles B. Payne Sr., passed away Nov. 9. She was born Sept. 27, 1932 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Louis and Helen Kish Lucas. She was a member of The Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia, where she would reside until retiring to Florida. She later returned to live in Seymour with her son. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Michael L. Payne Sr., son-in-law Daniel Rodriguez and her sisters Louise Malatesta, Helen Bass and Valerie Barrachina. She leaves her son Charles B. Payne Jr. (Linda) with whom she resided, daughters Rosemarie Rodriguez & Valerie Milkowski, (John) and 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Committal services will be held graveside in Pine Grove Cemetery on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 11:00 a.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, has been privileged with arrangements.
