Robert Schultz, 84 of Ansonia and husband of the late Barbara Banks Schultz, passed away Oct. 18. He was born Dec. 12, 1937 in Bridgeport, CT., son of the late Arthur and Albina Wenowice Schultz. Robert was an Air Force Veteran, and worked in security for Richardson Vicks Co. He attended The Trinity Lutheran Church of Shelton. He leaves two sons, Robert Schultz Jr. (Lori) of Tamarac, Florida, and Timothy Schultz (Deanna) of Spring Hill Florida, three daughters Margaret Damberg Shultz of Ohio, and Barbara Gutowsky & Cathleen Schultz, both of Ansonia, sister Albina “Bunny” Cooper of Lakeland, FL., and 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by 2 brothers Arthur & Raymond Schultz and sister Eileen Martick. Funeral services will be held Monday evening, at 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. He will be buried privately in The State Veterans’ Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The American Heart Association.
