Robert Krivda

Robert Krivda, of Ansonia, passed away on June 6th, 2021 at Hartford Hospital with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Diane Schmecker Krivda. Bob was born in Derby on June 22, 1954 son of Anne Perruccio Krivda and the late Robert H. Krivda of Derby. In addition to his father, he was predeceased  by a brother, James. Bob was a 1972 graduate of  Derby High School.  He worked for 43 years in the airline industry for US Airways at Bradley International Airport. He was the proud father of Suzanne (Noah) King-Smith of Derby and Stacie (Ralph) Alterisio of Middlebury. His pride and joy were his grandchildren Evangeline Cheryl & Kade Brian King-Smith and Ralphie Robert & Stella Shea Alterisio.
Bob was an avid sports fan following all types of sports especially the Jets, Mets, and UCONN Huskies. Cooking and spending time with his family filled his spare time.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, June 11th, from 4-8 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to The Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff St. Ansonia to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount St. Peter Cemetery, 219 New Haven Rd, Derby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
