Richard A. Thompson

Richard A. Thompson, an 84 year old lifelong Derby resident, passed away at home on May 3. He was born May 2, 1938 in Derby son of the late Walter I. Thompson and Evelyn Lockwood Thompson. He was the co-owner of W. Thompson & Son Inc., and attended The First Congregational Church in Derby. He leaves his sister Evelyn P. Provost of Derby and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Kenneth S. Provost. Funeral services will be held graveside on Monday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, 15 Church St.  Ansonia. There are no calling hours. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia has been privileged with arrangements.
