Mary P. (Paczkowski) Zebrowski

Mary Zebrowski, wife of 55 years to Eugene J. Zebrowski of Ansonia CT, passed away peacefully in the arms of her true love on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Mary was born on April 18, 1947 in Bridgeport, CT. She was predeceased by her mother Elnor Bernardone and father Dino Bernardone (Ben) of Belen, New Mexico. She graduated Ansonia High School in 1965 and was a 45-year employee of Griffin Hospital, retiring in 2013. She graduated from Housatonic Community College at the age of 52 with high honors and a 3.9 GPA.

Mary loved traveling and cruising the oceans all over the world with her husband. She enjoyed cooking for her family. Her special holiday traditions with granddaughter Morgan will never be forgotten.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived, and will be dearly missed, by daughter Christine and son Johnny (Delprete), and daughter Lorie and son Kevin (Maguire), as well as brother Dean (Bernardone) and his wife Erika. Godson Christopher Cavagnuolo, and grandchildren Alex (Delprete) and Morgan (Maguire), always held a special place in Mary’s heart. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mary was also predeceased by her brothers Michael (Bernardone) and David (Bernardone).

The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the Hartford Healthcare at Home Services (especially Emily, Kim, Dawn, Jamie, and Ashley) for their wonderful care, and to honorary daughter Debi Mut for all her love and support. 

Funeral services will begin with visitation hours on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Jenkins-Kings & Malerba Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Peter’s Cemetery.
