Mary E. Gatison

Mary E. Gatison, a 96 year old Bridgeport resident and wife of the late Isaiah Gatison, passed away June 1. She was born July 10, 1927 in Natchez, MS., daughter of the late Clarence and Ella Morrow Butler. Mary was a lifelong active member of The Macedonia Baptist Church in Ansonia. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by four sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her son Robert Royster, daughter Alfreda Royster and grandson Krishna Royster, all of Bridgeport. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday June 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Funeral services will begin at 12 NOON. Burial follows in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
