Mark Amsden Kelly, a 69 year old Waterbury resident, passed away suddenly July 22. He was born Sept. 3, 1954 in Derby, son of the late John Francis Kelly Jr. and June Amsden Kelly. He grew up in Ansonia and graduated from Ansonia High School, Class of ’72. He worked for I.T. General Data Co. He then embarked on starting his own business that embodied his love for cars, and all things mechanical. His pride and joy was a 1967 GTO that won many prizes at car shows. Mark was a very kind and thoughtful person who valued the time spent with his many friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Carol. He leaves his brother John Kelly, (Sharon) of Martha’s Vineyard and Carolyn Smith, (Robert) of Beacon Falls, nephews Michael Santore & Bryan Smith, nieces Jessica Santore & Jennifer Hughes, and grandnephew Connor Santore. Services of Remembrance will be held privately by the family. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia has been privileged with arrangements.
