Marion (Barnett) Wright

Marion Wright, a 92 year old New Haven resident, passed away Oct. 18. She was born Oct. 8, 1931 in Ansonia, daughter of the late John Barnett and Marion Silva. A graduate of Ansonia High School, she supervised the custodial services at S.C.S.U.

She served on Executive Board for 20 years @SEIU Local #511. Marion loved to cook and was an avid reader. 

She was predeceased by siblings Gladys Nelson, Geralda Lanier, LeRoy Marshall, William Barnett, Betty Green & Charles Silva. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter DeEtta  Wright Mouning and her son Richard C. Wright Jr., both of New Haven, her brother Anthony Silva of Florida, sister Alice Moore of Cheshire, and grandchildren, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. from The Beulah Heights Church, 782 Orchard St. in New Haven. Friends may call AT CHURCH from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia has been entrusted with arrangements.
