Lynn M. Bernier

Lynn M. Bernier age 72,  wife of Paul Bernier Sr. and resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest Feb. 2, 2021. She was born Oct. 6, 1948 in Derby, daughter of the late Joseph Kasinkas and Louise McGuire Kasinkas. She was a graduate of Ansonia High School and the Elm City Beauty Academy, and worked as a beautician for Sampiere’s Hair Salon. She also worked at the Valley YMCA. Lynn was an avid painter and ceramics maker, she also loved needle work and quilling. She was a former member of St. Anthony’s Church in Ansonia and later attended Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia. In addition to her husband, she leaves her two sons Paul Bernier Jr. and wife Kristin Reichelt Bernier and Kristian Bernier and wife Karen Johns Bernier, all of Beacon Falls, her sister Ellen Turschmann of Ansonia, grandchildren Hailey, Hunter, Mackayla & Nolan and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 8  at 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. Friends may attend walk-through calling hours on Monday 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service. Burial follows in Pine Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
