Lillian Antrum Obituary

Lillian Maynard Antrum passed away at home on Monday, March 11, 2024. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother and was lovingly known as Lil to some. She was born on April 5, 1942, in Derby, CT to the late George Maynard, Sr. and Mildred Gordino Jackson. She attended Ansonia High School, and in 1969 she married John Antrum. They were married for 54 years and together they raised two lovely daughters, Lisa and Nina, whom they loved and cherished. Lillian was beautiful and had impeccable taste and style. She was very artistic, loved shopping, yoga, and watching Westerns on TV. She enjoyed swimming, especially with her grandchildren, and was most happy spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband: John E. Antrum; daughters: Lisa Samuels of Ansonia, CT, and Nina Antrum of Ansonia, CT; siblings: Dorene Maynard Siggars of Middlebury, CT, Barbara London of Ansonia, CT,  and Kenneth (Tommy) Jackson of Ansonia, CT; grandchildren: Samone, Sierra, Romello, and Jayden; niece: Nicole; nephews: Tyrone, Gordon, Dean, Shawn, Keith, Earl, Maysio, Kierron, Roy, and Michael.

Lillian was predeceased by her parents: George (Buster) Maynard, Sr. and Mildred Gordino Jackson; brother: George Maynard, Jr.; uncle: Edward (Sonny) Gordino. A Private Graveside Ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia, CT. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. has been privileged with arrangements.
