Kenneth A. Crowther a 65 year old Ansonia resident passed away peacefully Aug. 21 after a long courageous battle. He was born Feb. 20, 1959 in Derby, son of the late Raymond and Ruth Estabrook Crowther. He graduated from Derby public schools and worked as a freelance roofer and general contractor until becoming ill. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and fishing. He loved sports, especially football, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He also enjoyed music, including drum corps. music and was a marching member of The Emerald Cadets and Emerald Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps. He leaves his loving son Kenneth Crowther of Naugatuck, his beloved grandchildren Louis, Eloise, and Joseph Crowther, and three loving sisters Kathleen Borzelli of Rockland, ME., Patricia Farris of Bridgton, ME., & Renee Murphy of Jasper, Florida, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Linda Lombardi and brothers Raymond, Robert and Craig Crowther. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
