Jo-Anne "Jo-Jo" Billing

Jo-Anne “Jo-Jo” Billing 66 year old resident of Ansonia born September 8, 1959 in Derby, daughter of the late Frank and Anne (DiGiovanni) Pczonka.  She was employed at the former W.E. Bassett Company for 27 years, after being a waitress at Howard Johnson’s in Derby for many years.  Jo-Anne loved cheering on the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team, along with the WNBA. She also loved scary movies especially the Halloween movie franchise. She always looked forward to receiving her TV Guide in the mail. She never forgot a birthday and was always the first to send birthday wishes. She never met a stranger and she was loved by many.  She is survived by her son Kevin Billing of Oxford, daughters Melissa Billing of PA, and Rachel Hallifax of Bridgeport. She was a cherished grandmother to Austin Elliott of Derby and Logan Hallifax of Bridgeport.   She’s also survived by sisters Maureen Graf of PA, Linda Megura of Waterbury, Laura Pczonka and Frances Jesulaitis, both of Ansonia, Christine Pczonka of Shelton, and brother Frank Pczonka of Ansonia.  Jo-Anne had many nieces and nephews, and great nephews who she cherished and loved. Friends may call Thursday, from 9:00 am to 11:00am at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home 12 Franklin St Ansonia.  Prayer services will begin at 11:00am.  Interment will be private, at the convenience of the family.
