Jean K. Golden, a 90 year old longtime Ansonia, CT. resident and wife of the late Norman Golden, passed away Nov. 23, 2021 in Virginia. She was born July 5 1939 in Derby, daughter of the late William & Gertrude Chirgwin Edwards. She worked as a bookkeeper for several local companies and was a lifelong active member of The First Baptist Church in Ansonia. She was also active in the church women’s group and sang in the choir. She had formerly served in The Coast Guard auxiliary. She was also a resident at Ripton’s in Shelton and joined The Shelton Baptist Church, before she moved to Virginia. She is survived by her daughter Katherine Davis and sister Anne Smith, both of Florida, sister Hilda Feducia of Derby as well as nieces Lisa Daddio of Seymour & Sharon Tidwell of Delaware, and nephews Tommy Feducia of Beacon Falls and Richie Feducia of S.C. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 5 at 12 NOON at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12 NOON. Burial follows in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Ansonia Animal Shelter.
