Jean Golden a 90 year old Virginia resident and former longtime Ansonia resident, passed away Nov. 23. She was born in Derby on July 5, 1931. She was the daughter of the late William H. Edwards and Gertrude Chirgwin Edwards. She worked as a bookkeeper for Grazers Co., and was an active member of the former First Baptist Church in Ansonia. Among the many things she enjoyed was singing; She sang at The Derby Senior Center and was a member of her church choir. She is survived by her daughter Katherine Davis of Florida, her sisters Hilda Feducia of Derby & Ann Smith of Northport Fl., nephews Tommy Feducia (Sheryl) of Beacon Falls and Richard Feducia (Nicole) of S.C., nieces Sharon Tidwell (Jim) of Newark, Delaware and Lisa Daddio of Seymour, as well as five grand nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be held, and will be announced. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
