Jacqueline (Bailey) Blount

Jacqueline Blount an 76 year old Ansonia resident, passed away at home on July 9. She was born Dec. 16, 1946 in Derby, daughter of the late Leslie and Ruth Jordan Bailey. She worked in employment services for The State of CT. until retirement. She was predeceased by her husband Melvin & her sister Barbara Bailey. She leaves her son Jeffrey Blount of Ansonia, granddaughters Alexis Blount of Ansonia & Ashley Blount of New Haven,  her brother Leslie Bailey Jr. of Ansonia, her niece Leslie Bailey and five great grandchildren.  The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia is entrusted with arrangements. Memorial services will be held privately by the family.
