Obituary
Hazel Christmas, an 88 year old Ansonia resident, passed away at home on May 15, 2023. She was born on December 11, 1934 in Dawson, Georgia, daughter of the late Hazer Jackson and Marbell Hill. She leaves her son, Eric Christmas of New Haven, daughters, Brenda James of New Haven and Angela Thomas of Ansonia,
10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and sister, Ollie Mae Phillips of Orlando, FL. She was predeceased by two sons, Van and Keith Christmas and grandson, Aaron Christmas. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St., Ansonia. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery in Bridgeport.
