Gerald Hallden Obituary

Gerald Hallden, 78, of Naugatuck, loving husband of June Blakeman Hallden, passed away peacefully at home on March 18. 

In addition to his wife, Gerald leaves behind his son Jason Hallden & his partner Jen Levy of Torrington, daughter Rachel Hallden Goetz & husband Timothy Goetz of S. Windsor & his three grandsons Isaac, Benjamin & Levi Goetz.

Gerald "Gerry" will be remembered for his love of home life with his family, his sense of humor, and strong work ethic, traits he passed on to his grateful children. He was also incredibly proud of his grandsons who adored their "Papa". He was a man of many talents including photography, playing the drums, and wood carving. He loved to commune with nature, capturing God's creation through his photography. He was also an enthusiast of fishing, football, and Nascar. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. 

Before moving to Naugatuck in 1979, he was a long time resident of Ansonia. He was born on December 14, 1946 to the late George & Edith Pollard Hallden of Ansonia. He graduated from Ansonia High School in 1965 and worked for Farrel Corp for 28 years before retiring. He was predeceased by his sister Carol Hallden Evans.
