Garrett Piper Obituary

Garrett Piper 41 of Waterbury CT unexpectedly passed away Oct.13, 2020 at West Chester Hospital in New York. He was born June 27, 1979 in Derby CT, and was the husband of Lynn Piper. Garrett graduated from the Bristol adult education program and achieved his high school diploma in 2009.  Garrett worked as a cell mechanic and tower technician for C.S.B Communications in Branford CT for the last 10 years.

Garret had a passion for motorcycles, and was also part of the Rezilient Ryderz MC who was also like a family to him. He loved music, get-together’s and good times. He was always the life of the party, and loved to dance wherever he heard music. He will be missed by many as his smile and personality brought joy to all that knew him.

Garrett was predeceased by his father Gilbert Piper and is survived his mother Gerlene Piper of Atlanta Georgia, and his beloved wife of 13 years Lynn Piper. He also leaves to cherish his memory five sons Garrett and Gordon Piper, and Diashon Peel all of Waterbury CT, as well step sons Chad and Jordan Vassell of Bristol. Three daughters Ebony Ross of Waterbury CT, Gia Piper of New Haven CT, and step daughter Mackenzy Ross of Bristol CT. Garrett also leaves 4 grandchildren Gordon Piper Jr., Jailene Piper, Greyson Piper, and Izabella Vassell. He had four sisters Glendel & Gabrielle Piper of Atlanta GA, Gretchen Piper and her husband Jamel Ross, and Melissa Odums and her husband Tony of Waterbury, & one brother Gordon Piper and his wife Chrystal of Killeen TX. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as many close friends who will all miss him tremendously. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT has been entrusted with the arrangements.
