Frank Leonard Blaze, a 93 year old Seymour resident and husband to Jane Brooks Blaze, passed away Feb. 24. He was born Dec. 19, 1931 in Derby, son of the late Frank & Elsie Locke Blaze. He was a former co-owner of Ideal Mower in Derby, and later worked as an engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft. He was a member of The King Hiram Masonic Lodge in Shelton. He was predeceased by two sisters Ruth Branch & Rowena Warecke. In addition to his wife Jane, he leaves to cherish his memory sons David Blaze (Roxanne) of Granville, MA., & Philip Blaze (Sophia) of Cheshire and daughter Elaine Blaze of Beacon Falls, and 5 grandchildren, Kaile Blaze of Southwick, MA., Kelsey Blaze of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lauren Lombardi of Hanover, PA., and Christopher & Mia Blaze of Cheshire, as well as 2 great grandchildren Keeley Blaze & Elsie Wyrick. Friends may call on Sunday, March 2nd from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home. Burial will be private in Mountain Meadows Cemetery in Seymour.
