Frances M. (Ruzicka) Hulley

Frances Mary Louise (Ruzicka) Hulley age 94 passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2023 in Stratford, CT. She lived her entire life in Connecticut. She was born in Bridgeport and moved to Stratford after marriage to raise her family. In later years she lived in Shelton at Crosby Commons and Wesley Village where she throughly enjoyed the other residents, staff and planned activities.

Frances was the devoted wife of beloved husband, Fredrick Hulley (predeceased).  Frances is survived by three children – Fred, Jr. (Judy Primavera) of Orange, CT; Linda (Hulley) Walley of Berlin, CT; and Thomas Hulley (Suzanne) of Cheshire, CT.  Frances has seven amazing grandchildren – Sarah Colbert (Richard), Jamie Hulley (predeceased), Corinne Tarullo (Keith), Krystal Hulley, Nicole Hulley, Kari Hulley,  and Patrick Walley.  She was blessed with two great-grandchildren – Conor and Caedan Colbert.  She is also survived by loving sister Jean Ries; nieces Deborah McNally, Barbara Bergen (Robert), and Sharon Laccone (Robert); and cousins Ruth Janssen and Robert Ruzicka.

In her long and happy life Frances enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, puzzles, coloring books and photo albums that captured every aspect of her treasured family adventures, large and small.  She volunteered for over 30 years at The Golden Rooster Shop as a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Stratford, CT.
