Eleanor Ruth Griffiths

Eleanor Ruth Griffiths, a 94 year old Oxford resident, passed away

Jan. 4, 2021. She was born August 18, 1926 in Derby, daughter

of the late John Mills Griffiths and Helen Renker Griffiths. She was

a member of The Seymour Congregational Church and worked as

a medical secretary for Griffin Hospital. She was also active in The

Girl Scouts and the Rainbow Girls. She leaves her son John and

two grandchildren Ryan & Danielle of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She

was predeceased by her sister Marge Peck. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to her church. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements.
