Dylan Bradford James Durkin of Milford, CT passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2026, at the age of 23. Dylan was born on March 15, 2002. Dylan worked as a tow truck driver for Bruneau’s Inc. out of Milford, CT. He was a great friend, a devoted family member and an amazing father. His love for his son was undeniable and pure.
Dylan is survived by his son, Blake, his parents, Jamie and Donna Hallak, his grandmother, Barbara Buck. Dylan is predeceased by his grandfather William Buck II. He is also survived by his brothers, Dalton Durkin, Anthony and Jayson Hallak, all of Bristol, CT, his sister, LaBriana Hallak of Ansonia, CT. His aunt and godmother Christi (Pat) Juliano of West Haven, his uncle Robert (Marie) Buck of East Haven, his Great Grandmother June Coons. Dylan is also survived by five more aunts, an uncle, a host of cousins, and a niece. Dylan is survived by his biological father, Timothy (Duke) Durkin, along with five half siblings and nieces and nephews.
If you knew Dylan, you knew Dylan. If you did not have the chance to meet Dylan, you missed out on one of the most caring souls you could ever meet. Dylan’s love would drive you crazy in the best way. He was the life of the party; he was always the one who could light up the darkest room. Dylan would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was always someone you could rely on.
A celebration of Dylan’s life will be held on, Thursday, March 12 at Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home 12 Franklin St Ansonia, CT. Friends may call from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Service will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a children’s charity of your choice.
