Dorine "Dawn" Wilhelmy

Dorine “Dawn” Wilhelmy, 97, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025. She was the widow of William Wilhelmy, Sr.

Born on December 19, 1927 to Harold and Anna Traver, Dawn lived a long and loving life devoted to her family. She is survived by her children William Wilhelmy, Jr., Robert Wilhelmy, and Doreen Wilhelmy with whom she resided, as well as her sister Jean Walsh. She is predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.

Dawn’s legacy also lives on through her three granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held to honor Dawn’s life on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Living Springs Christian Church, 141 Great Hill Road, Seymour, CT 06483.
