Donna Branch

Donna Branch, a 76 year old Seymour resident and wife of Robert W. Branch, passed away June 17. She was born April 11, 1948 in Ohio, daughter of the late Herman and Mabel Marie Slagle Gregory. Donna graduated from The Hillsboro High School of Hillsboro, Ohio as well as The Jewish Hospital School of Nursing, and worked as a Registered Nurse at Griffin Hospital in Derby from 1972 to 2012. She was recognized as ‘Nurse of the Year’ in 1994. She was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church of Ansonia. In addition to her husband, she leaves sons Robert Branch & Angela Falso, both of Seymour and Timothy & Amy Branch, both of Avon, CT., brother Russell Gregory of Dayton, Ohio and four grandchildren Amanda, Caroline, Truman & Pierce. In addition to her parents, she’s predeceased by her brother Kenneth. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Thursday from the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to The Griffin Hospital Development Fund or to Christ  Episcopal Church Ansonia, through the funeral home.
