Donald C. Lovett, a resident of Shelton, passed away Jan.1 at Wesley Heights. He was born Nov. 11, 1941 in Derby, son of the late Donald H. and Addiebell Dewitt Lovett. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran from Fighter Squadron 121 stationed at Miramar, CA and worked as an engineer and retired as chief technology officer for Branson Ultrasonics. He was also a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia and active in Boy Scouts for many years. He leaves his former wife Judy, his son Brian Lovett of Milford, Dawn Ames of Seymour, sisters Jacqueline Bickford of New Hampshire and Margaret Dolan of Waretown, N.J. as well as 4 nephews and a niece. Friends may call on Monday, Jan. 8 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. from Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
