Dion Beall

Dion Beall a 62 year young Derby resident, passed away peacefully on Jan. 8, 2026. Dion lived a life full of strength and unwavering loyalty to his family.  He was a beloved uncle, brother, father and friend to many, He is survived by his mother Lois Smith, (Beall) of Ansonia,  loving children Meghan Johnson of Ansonia and Jasmine Swain of New Haven, siblings Debra Beall of Ansonia, Tonya Beall of Virginia & Caprice Sullivan of Hamden, his aunt Barbara Hopkins and a plethora of nieces, nephews & 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father Ezra Fernandez.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, the love and laughter he shared will live on in every family gathering he helped create. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 12 NOON from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12 NOON.
