Daniel “Danny” Hall, 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Waterbury on November 10, 2021. He was born November 25, 1961 in Bridgeport. Danny was the dear son of Barbara and Gerald “Jerry” Hall. He was the beloved husband of Ingrid Hall and devoted father of Tricia “Trish” Umstead, Daniel “Dan” Pierce, and Daniel “Danny” Caputo. He was a loving grandfather of Spencer Whitlow, Kiley Umstead, Gunner Umstead, Carson Caputo, Odin Pierce and baby girl Caputo due very soon. Danny is also survived by his aunt Carolyn and uncle Russell Lakatos, his brother Jim Hall, his sister Katherine Root and several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Danny went to Cross Street School, City Hill Middle School, and graduated from Naugatuck High School. He also attended Asnuntuck Community College. He spent some time in the army and worked for several roofing companies, Gary Brown and Chris Davey most recently. Danny was a lover of motorcycles, sports, and dogs. He loved his New York Yankees, Harley Davidson, and really enjoyed watching The Walking Dead. Negan was his favorite. He always said there was only four women in his life… his mom, his daughter, his wife and his granddaughter. He truly treasured his beautiful grandchildren above everything.
Danny was funny, kind, and an old-fashioned gentleman. When he wasn’t working, Danny enjoyed bowling and going out on boat rides with his family. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He has so many great friends. In 2019, Danny accepted Christ as his Savior and enjoyed attending church with his wife and stepson, Carmine at Life Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 20 at 4:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin Street, Ansonia, CT. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Adult & Teen Challenge Connecticut located at 86 Spring St. New Haven, CT 06519.
