Clifford G. Cowell III

Clifford G. Cowell, III a 62 year old Ansonia resident and husband to Linda Laverty Cowell, passed away Sept. 24. He was born June 29, 1960 in Bordertown, N.J. He was the son of Jean Strachen Halapin and the late Clifford Cowell Jr., and worked as a clerk for Cumberland Farms. In addition to his mother Jean and wife Linda, he is survived by his sons Paul and Nicholas Cowell, daughters Christina ‘Bena’ and Crystal Cowell, his brothers Edward Cowell and Michael & Raymond Halapin, sisters Brenda Peters & Doreen Cowell and a host of grandchildren, nieces & nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother Thomas Halapin and his step father Raymond Halapin. Friends may call on Monday, Oct. 10 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St.  Ansonia, CT. Funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m.
