Clara Harkins

Clara Harkins, a 92 year former longtime Ansonia resident, currently of Oxford passed away October 6. She was born Aug. 12, 1929 in Scranton, PA., daughter of the late Stanley and Esther Laskowski. Clara was a Seymour High School graduate, a homemaker and parishioner of The Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, her son Richard Jr., by brothers Stanley & Chester Laskowski and by her sisters Anna Labowski, Josephine Falbo and Helen Hives. She leaves two daughters Diane Krutoholow (Peter) of Oxford and Jean Mucciacciaro (Mario) of Watertown, three grandchildren Peter Krutoholow (Emilie), Elizabeth Hida (Sever), Melissa Kirk (Kris), four great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Tichy. Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
