Cathy Louisa Pepe

Cathy Louisa Pepe a 66 year old Seymour resident, passed away Feb 15, 2024. She was born Sept. 22, 1957 in New Haven, daughter of the late Antimo and Louisa Will Pepe. Cathy graduated from Ansonia High School, where she was a cheerleader. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at S.C.S.U., her Master’s Degree in social work from Columbia University, and worked as a social worker for Yale N.H. Hospital until retirement. She is survived by her brother Thomas Pepe (Alfreda) of Ansonia, and nieces and nephews Thomas Pepe (Anna) of Manalapan, N.J., James Pepe of Seymour, Laura Pellerito (Joseph) of Trumbull, Sara Violano (Tony) and Alison Molyneux, (Chris) all of Oxford, as well as seven great nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Josephine Machowski (Edward) of Oxford. She will be buried privately in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, has been privileged with arrangements.
