Alice Adele Fountain Busch was quietly called home on early Wednesday morning, August,14, 2024 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Alice was born on May 20, 1938 in Derby CT. to the late Roosevelt and Annie Mae Bass Fountain. Alice resided in West Haven, CT. She was a graduate of Ansonia High School. She worked at the former Southern New England Telephone Co. and prior to her illness she was employed by Yale New Haven Hospital as a Certified Nurses Aid. It was a job Alice loved to do. She enjoyed helping people. She was a former member of Macedonia Baptist Church, and Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her precious memories two sons, Robert Busch Jr. of Ansonia and Sydney Ray (Tiffany) of Lawrenceville, Georgia, five grandchildren, Her siblings; Edna Jones (Joseph) of New Haven, Catherine Garris of Naugatuck, Walter Fountain (Sue) of Naugatuck, Selina Scott and Herman Fountain of Ansonia, Goddaughter Fern Garris, special niece Andrea Lacie Scott and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Alice was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert Busch, her daughter Suzette Busch, her siblings Rosaline Fountain, Roosevelt Fountain, Beatrice Zollacoffer, Edward, Willie & Dennis Fountain, and Thomasina Glover. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 24th at 10:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. before the service. Burial follows in Pine Grove Cemetery.
