Abraham Cyrus Jr.

Abraham "Abe" George Cyrus Jr., an 80 year old Ansonia resident and husband to Lynn Parks Cyrus, passed away April 2. He was born in Virginia on July 21, 1945, son of the late Abraham and Myrtle Falkland Cyrus. He worked as a tow truck driver and machinist for Farrel Corp. and later for Kerite Co. in Seymour.  In addition to his wife Lynn, he leaves his two sons Channing Cyrus of Ansonia and Lawrence Parks of Derby, daughter Chyna Cyrus of Ansonia and sister Hester Barbour of Danville, Virginia. He was predeceased by two sisters Betsy Carter and Ophelia Elder. Funeral services were private at the convenience of the family. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, has been entrusted with arrangements.
